UiPath Automation Developer (RPA)

Job Overview: 
We are seeking an experienced RPA Developer that will consult on automation design and execute the development, testing, and production release of automation process within the automation platform. This role will monitor existing automations for any issues and fix bugs as they arise.  You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, training users, and providing technical support.  In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with business operations and business analysts to create and optimize workflow processes. To be successful, you'll need experience in technologies including UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform. This role reports to the IT Project Management Automation office.
Primary Duties:
  • Evaluate business requirements and define scope of projects in collaboration with Business Analyst. Provide guidance with automated process design for the optimal automated solution.
  • Transform process design documents into technical specifications and create technical automation documentation (including SDD)
  • Code development (coding, testing, debugging and implementation of process into production)
  • Develop and configure automations with UiPath platform utilizing core workflow principles.
  • Analysis and documentation of requirements, testing RPA processes, other design artifacts.
  • Support existing production automation and implementation of automation revisions.
  • Develop test plans and test cases. Manage system testing and coordination of User Acceptance Testing
  • Assure the quality of the automation (QA processes and automation best practices).
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Follow company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.
  • Perform any duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on development experience with RPA tools and cognitive platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc. UiPath experience is highly preferred.
    • UiPath Automation Developer Professional Certification highly preferred
  • Experience in any of the programming languages like C/C++, Python, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JS, .Net.
  • Basic programming knowledge on HTML, JavaScript (or any scripting language).
  • Able to design technical specification documents for Automation Projects.
  • Able to resolve technical risks and issues affecting project delivery.
  • Provide development timelines and effort estimation for assigned projects.
  • Experience developing and consuming APIs.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL) preferred.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Understanding of workflow-based logic.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Superior time and project management skills.
  • Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to work well independently and to contribute and thrive in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment 7-yr criminal background check.
