U Of A Caff Farmer Education Program Assistant Vista

Member Duties : The VISTA will research and formulate Farm School, apprenticeship, and beginning farmer course preparation including, but not limited to producing resource handouts, planning and organizing educational activities, and collaborating with instructors to establish curriculum updates and improvements. The VISTA will improve the efficiency of the training farm in the following ways: streamlining produce recordkeeping systems, updating food safety (GAP) manual, and assisting in financial recordkeeping to ensure successful implementation. The VISTA will assist in fundraising and workshops/farm tour events throughout the year.
