Tutor Language Arts 4Th-5Th Grade

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor/Teacher to join our team. As a Tutor/Teacher you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students in Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Handwriting, Grammar, Speech). Responsibilities:
- Conduct small group tutoring sessions with 7-10 students
- Assess students' learning needs and develop customized lesson plans
- Assist students in understanding difficult concepts and improving their academic performance
- Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance tutoring sessions
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Support students in developing study skills and effective learning strategies
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure alignment with classroom curriculum
- Assist in curriculum development and adapting materials to meet individual student needs
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the Language Arts subject area for 4th/5th grade
- Proficient in using computerized learning tools and educational software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
