Primary Objective of Position

To provide customer service in accordance with the standards of Bartell Hotel Corporation by providing proper turndown service to customers

Major Areas of Accountability

• Meets and exceeds customer and team member expectations by providing It Starts with Me! Stellar service and teamwork
• Provides value added service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers, and management
• Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed
• Communicates difficult situations effectively
• Contributes to customer satisfaction by thoroughly and correctly arranging turndowns
• Follows Bartell Hotels policies with regard to "Do Not Disturb" rooms
• Follows hotel guidelines for proper turndown procedures
• Maintains neat and orderly carts in accordance with Bartell’s standards
• Stocking of carts correctly refreshing items when needed are running low
• Places cart in proper place according to departmental procedures
• Good communicator / English speaking
• Experience at least a room attendant
• Experience as a housekeeping Houseman
• Experience in Laundry
• Shift from 2:30-11:00pm
• Available to work weekends and holydays
• Positive and detail oriented

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as well as frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. The employee must also be able to go up and down a flight of stairs while carrying 50 pounds. The employee is sometimes exposed to outside weather conditions and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
