Truck Mechanic
Sweitzer Waste Removal, a local waste collection company, is seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team in order to service our growing fleet.
Job Details:
- Full-time.
- Starting pay rate $28-$42 per hour.
- Pay rate is based on experience/job knowledge.
- Health benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life.

Position Summary:
- The Truck Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining heavy equipment and trucks in a safe and professional manner.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting trucks and equipment.
- Maintain and repair various types of equipment, diesel motors, and hydraulic systems.
- Work all assigned shifts from scheduled start time to scheduled end time.
Requirements:
- CDL B preferred, but not mandatory.
- Air Brake Certification preferred, but not mandatory
- Minimum 2 years in transportation environment.
