CDL- A Driver / Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Dry Van
- Touch Freight
- Night Driving with early morning deliveries
- Home Weekly and off on weekends
- Automatics
- Pay: $.90cpm
- Average $1800 + per week
- Driver must live within 70 miles of Chesapeake, VA
- $20 stop pay
- $40 short haul pay
- $240 Driver unload pay
- Driver unload using rollers, racks and load bars
- Average 2200 miles weekly
- Live unload, drop and hook
CDL-A Driver / Truck Driver Requirements:
- 6 months verifiable recent tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
- Local experience will be considered
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
- No more than 4 jobs in the past 12 months
- No more than 3 preventable accidents in the past 2 years.
- No major moving violation in the past 12 months
- No more than 1 termination in the past 5 years and it can't be from your last employer
- DUI must be outside of 10 years
- Felonies and misdemeanors will all be reviewed by Security
- Hair Follicle and Urine drug screen required
