Job Description: The Truck-Forklift Driver is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient transport of products and materials to and from our customers’ facilities and throughout the agency. He/she will unload and load trucks, supply all work stations with needed materials, and prepare completed products for safe transport. When not performing driving duties, he/she will perform a variety of in-house production related tasks. Such tasks may include, but not limited to packaging, sorting, assembly, quality control, inspection, repair, and required documentation. The Truck, Forklift Driver reports directly to the Managed Services Assistant Manager.

- Transport products and materials in a safe and efficient manner, both on the forklift and in the truck.
- Safely operate forklift at all times.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Secure finished product by wrapping with stretch-film.
- Assist with the quality completion of products and services when requested.
- Assist with the preparation of workstations.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks on assigned vehicle on a daily basis. Report any deficiencies to the MS Assistant Manager.
- Complete all required documentation such as signed bills of lading, fuel reports, mileage, etc.
- Report any damage of products to the MS Assistant Manager.
- Serve as a representative of our agency when visiting customers’ facilities.
- Serve as a back-up to the MS Assistant Manager.
- Serve as a flex supervisor with 24 hr/weekend sorts.
- Attend all meetings as directed by the MS Manager.
- Report needs and shortages of production supplies to the MS Manager.
- Complete 40 hours of annual job related training.
Other Responsibilities:
- Serve as a representative of the agency when interacting with customers, adhering to the Agency Code of Professional Conduct.
- Complete appropriate reports.
- Attend all required meetings and agency staff meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

This job operates in a factory environment with material-moving equipment and other equipment with moving parts. The noise level in this environment can be loud. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Minimum of 1 year of production/factory work experience
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritization skills.
- Valid Illinois Driver’s License and ability to obtain Class C License.
- Strong organizational, and customer service skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills such as PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, and Word
Regular working hours are 6:00a.m. to 2:30p.m. (1/2 hour lunch) Monday – Friday and an additional requirement to be part of the on-call rotation. Additional hours may be required to meet customer timelines and expectations
