Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers.
- Load and unload cargo or materials using appropriate equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, transportation, and delivery.
Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial Truck Driver.
- Experience operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers.
- Proficient in manual transmission operation.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past [X] years.
- Ability to safely load and unload cargo or materials using appropriate equipment.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations governing commercial truck operation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
