We are currently seeking the right candidate for a telephone Triage Nurse position in our busy OB/GYN practice. We are a well established practice with 3 locations is the Hampton Roads area with 9 physicians, 3 physician assistants, 1 nurse practitioner and 2 certified nurse mid-wives as well as a full-time marriage and family therapist.
Primary Responsibilities:

- Monday- Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Telephone triage.
- Reporting results to patients.
- Refilling prescriptions.
- Prior authorizations.
- Scheduling same day appointments.
- Other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Valid LPN/ RN license.
- Athena EMR experience preferred.
- Must have experience in an office setting, OB/GYN is a must.
- Must be able to work independently and in a group setting.
- Efficiency and attention to detail are a must.
- Solid critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Prioritize tasks appropriately and efficiently.
- Problem-solving skills, adaptability and flexibility.

About The Group for Women:
Busy OB/GYN practice with 3 locations in the Norfolk, Downtown Norfolk and Chesapeake area. We have 10 physicians, 2 Physician Assistants and 2 Certified Nurse Midwives.
