Under the supervision of the nursing supervisor the Triage Nurse will perform nursing assessments for potential and admitted clients; monitors and documents the health status throughout the stay; administers medications and medical treatment as ordered. The Triage Nurse will provide education and referrals; maintains sensitive and confidential information.
Triage Nurse Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active, unencumbered license in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
- Minimum of one-year experience in medical nursing required.
- AOD and or Psychiatric Nursing experience required.
