Topco Associates is currently seeking a Treasury Specialist for the Finance Team in Itasca, IL. This position will be a hybrid role, with the successful candidate conducting work in our Itasca office three times per week and virtual twice per week.

The purpose of this position will be to manage Topco's cash position and maximize investment returns. Develop, maintain and generate key periodic Treasury reports and databases. Provide analytical support and work on special projects in all areas of Treasury.
ResponsibilitiesRisk Management
- Credit - Calculate ratios and analyze member financial statements and other member credit news
- Vendor documents/ activation - Address questions and issues relating to the T&C/ COI documents, vendor activation/changes and vendor payment terms
- Retirement plan - Provide financial analytical support and handle administrative functions including payments and auditor questions. Issue reporting timely
- Insurance - Assist with Topco's annual insurance renewal process and issue required payments
- Ad hoc projects - Participate and generate required deliverable for any ad hoc treasury projects requested by Management
- All other duties as assigned
Reporting
- Generate Treasury reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Create new reports as required
- Modify existing reports to be more effective if applicable
Cash / Investment Management
- Determine and reconcile Topco's daily cash position
- Maximize returns on Topco approved investment vehicles
- Provide reporting on banking transaction
- Monitor bank fees
- Resolve any banking transactions discrepancies (directly with the bank, vendor and/or internally)
- Ensure EFT information received are correct
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Previous Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
Technical skills:
- Knowledge of financial statements and ratios
- Strong analytical skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Self-Starter
- Prioritizes tasks efficiently
- Organized and detail oriented
- Conveys written and spoken information clearly, and concisely
