The Treasury Reporting Analyst is the subject matter expert for preparing the consolidation and all analysis related to the cash flow planning for the Americas Region within the entities under the coverage of BMW US Capital. As such the position manages all local, regional, and central relationships accordingly. The position also assists the Treasury Reporting and Controlling Manager with various submissions and/or projects where needed.
Liquidity Planning/Financial Risk Management:
- Liquidity needs in the Americas Region total over $36bn.
- Model and analyze cash flow forecasts for each (C & SF) entity in the Americas Region to ensure adequate funding availability.
- Analyze business drivers as key cash flow components developing different scenario analyses for each entity.
- Develop and propose different funding strategies/alternatives for each entity optimizing the business profitability and cost of funds for the region.

- Coordinates the preparation of the macroeconomic and financial market data report. The data related to this report will be obtained from Bloomberg.
- Obtains and consolidates the weekly funding needs for all entities within the Americas Region.
- Analyze deviations on forecast vs actuals and work together with the entities to reduce planning volatility.
- Collaborate with Front Office to submit the forecast of external liquidity position to FC-14.
- Work with FF-11, FR-221, C4-US-F, and TX-72 to produce the monthly decade day forecast/settlement amount.
- Prepare the Long-Range Funding Plan for the Americas Region consolidating all funding needs and cash flow forecasts among all the relevant BMW entities within the Americas, This plan will also include the funding strategy for the upcoming 5 years and must be aligned with BMW AG.
Financial Planning, Controlling and Reporting:
- Preparation of the Americas Regional (including Canada, US, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina) report to senior management which includes economic outlook, sales development and cash flow planning for each entity and funding strategy for the region.
- In order to perform this activity this job will require to establish and maintain relationships with each (C, T & SF) entity in the Americas Region becoming the main FF-AM contact point for cash flow planning data.
- Monitor the political and economic landscape for each country in the Americas Region while analyzing the impact to the Group business.
General Accounting and Reporting:
- Support the development and maintenance of financial statement and profitability analysis for BMW US Capital LLC. Assist the Head of Treasury Mid & Back Office Americas on all budget and forecast exercises required by BMW Group Treasury
- Treasury Projects for the Americas Region:
- Assist in local treasury efforts and special projects for the entire Americas Region including new technologies such as predictive analytics and model forecasting for cash flow planning.
Risk Monitoring:
- Perform Value at Risk simulation on SDIS+ according to scenarios provided by Front Office. This function will also require calculating scenarios for the Target Debt structure for the Region according to requests coming from Front Office.
