The role focuses on supporting business development and sales, helping the FX PSS team in meeting targeted annual new business goals. Assisting the business to develop leads from an existing client base and closing deals is the determinant of success. The role also includes responsibility over business reporting, managing internal performance communication, internal/external data analytics, and developing client facing content.
While FX Payment marketing and sales will form a large proportion of responsibilities, the individual will also need to partner with GFX & GTS sales teams both locally and globally to coordinate efforts, help drive the sales process, maximize global opportunity & deliver the global firm to the client.
FX Payments is part of our clients' treasury processes, as such, this role will require partnership with other GTS business lines including Trade, Liquidity, Payments, and Receivables. This provides an opportunity to extend your knowledge of the bank's treasury solutions and how we help clients to resolve complex, cross-currency payments/receipts processes.
Core Function:
• As a GTS Product Sales Specialist Associate, candidate will be responsible for partnering with Senior PSS, GTS Sales, Client Coverage and GFX to support the continued growth of GTS and TFX revenue.
• Key job responsibilities include supporting the execution of Product Sales strategies across LOBs and regions inclusive of direct deal support, prospecting and on-going sales and coverage education.
• Must work with globally-based sales and product managers to promote cross-currency payments capabilities and pursue marquee deals, including coordination with regionally-based product executives in developing, implementing and promoting required capabilities. Participate in and drive industry dialogue on pertinent FX payment topics to ensure BofA's and our clients' interests are appropriately represented.
• Provide product expertise and eFX Platform differentiation to support Sales officers.
• Oversee reporting including pipeline of business opportunities and monthly industry performance dashboards

Domain Expertise/Intellect
• Understanding of treasury/finance processes for Corporates/Financial Institutions.
• Display desire to learn the GTS business and become a subject matter expert in Payment Services across a broad range of industry sectors to grow into a Senior PSS role and become a trusted advisor to our clients.
• Ability to analyze, determine, drive and build solutions independently.
• Strong grasp of critical principles of risk management, compliance and fraud.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
