Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries' Corporate Treasury Team is looking for an intern to join them and learn more about the Treasury function and the vital role it plays at the company. This position would primarily support the FX/Commodity risk management program, which is responsible for monitoring and hedging our global energy and operating/capital expense exposures across three continents. The position will also involve supporting our Operations and Debt management activities, where applicable. The project assignment for this role will be focused on streamlining processes, creating standardized reports and improving efficiency. Routine tasks may be associated with running / publishing weekly reports.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist in proposing optimal hedging strategies for FX and Commodities
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of the monthly internal reporting package.
• Develop a report that summarizes data relevant to our FX/Commodity hedging program.
• Develop standard reports for debt and investments using our treasury management system.
• Work collaboratively with other GlobalFoundries departments, as needed.
• Formal end of project presentation to finance management team and internship program.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

• Education -Junior or Senior in Fall 2024, majoring in Accounting or Finance from an accredited College and or University
• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
• Travel - (5% of travel may be required)
• Language Fluency - English
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internshi

• B.S or MBA candidate in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or other related discipline from an accredited University or College.
• Detailed working knowledge of the Excel and PowerPoint applications within Microsoft Office.
• Some previous experience in finance or accounting
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Strong planning & organizational skills
