Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Travel RN RehabMed Surg Float for a travel contract position in Alpena, MI. Accepting traveler candidates only.

Pay Rate: Range $1900 to $2160 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Rehab, Med Surg, Behavioral Health Units

Shift:12 Hours; Nights, 7p-7.30a

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 1 year - Required
• Inpatient Rehab Nursing experience: Recent/Current 1 year – Required
• Float to Med Surg and Behavioral Health units - Required
• Prior Travel Nursing experience – Highly preferred
• Epic experience – Highly preferred
• Covid Vaccination – Required

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
• RN License for State of MI - Required
• BLS Certifications from AHA - Required

Job Description:

• Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in Inpatient Rehab units and float to Med Surg and Behavioral health units.
• Assess patient health needs, nursing care requirements, and delivery of nursing care on all assigned patients.
• Plans and prioritizes patient care functions to meet patients' health care needs.
• Implements nursing actions in accordance with established standards of nursing practice and established policy.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided to ensure quality care and patient related issues are completed in a timely manner.
• Self-Management and accountability for delivery of responsible patient care, demonstrates effective communication skills and interpersonal relationships.
• Assists with over sight of non-clinical and support staff personnel
• Current EMR is Epic
