Do you have a passion for Cardiology? Our 2 General is a 24-bed unit that specializes in cardiac and nephrology care. Cardiac patients are post Cath or EP, CHF, chest pain, and drips. Care is also provided on this unit for our acute and chronic renal failure patients
This position will float to all acute care at Waterloo and Cedar Falls Medical Centers.
Through evidence-based practice, the RN utilizes critical thinking to assess, plan, implement and evaluate outcome-based care of patients. The RN supervises and coordinates care provided to patients by the LPN, Patient Care Assistants, and other nursing team members. The RN facilitates communication with physicians, patients and family, other departments, and/or team members. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Values of MercyOne.
