Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Registered Nurse (RN) Manager to join our talented team. As a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager at WTCP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. This is a temporary position until a permanent placement can be found.
The location is in Arcata, CA
The working schedule for this role is 8 hour day shift, Monday - Friday
The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
Vacation coverage is not required.

Key Responsibilities:
This position manages surgical schedules, staff schedules and organizational needs employing communication and effective collaboration with staff, surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and other nursing and non-nursing leaders to provide optimal patient care and flow
Schedules are for Surgery and Recovery, Same Day Surgery, Endoscopy, Sterile Processing and Wound Care
Additional duties to be shared upon interview
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or master degree in nursing
5 years of experience in as a Surgery Manager
Pass the National Council Licensure Examination or NCLEX-RN
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
American Heart Association BLS/CPR
ACLS certification
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
Basic computer skills
Professional, friendly attitude
