MLee Healthcare facility is seeking a skilled and compassionate Tele/MedSurg RN to join our team in New York. As a Tele/MedSurg RN, you'll play a critical role in providing top-quality care to patients in our busy medical-surgical unit.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and healthcare providers.
- Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and other pertinent information in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with the latest trends and technologies in medical-surgical nursing.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
