Travel designer

Tasks and responsibilities:
- meet with clients to discuss their travel interests, budget, and special requirements
- design custom travel itineraries (transportation, accommodations, activities and experiences)
- stay up to date about destinations, attractions, local customs, cuisine, and safety considerations
- select and book accommodations that align with the client's preferences
- arrange ground transportation and any other travel logistics
- recommend and organize activities based on the client's interests
- provide restaurant recommendations and reservations
- assist clients in obtaining necessary travel documents
- work within the client's budget to create a travel plan that maximizes value while meeting their expectations
- offer personalized touches such as arranging special celebrations, surprises, or VIP services
- provide ongoing support to clients during their travels
- foster relationships with travel suppliers, hotels, and tour operators, to secure the best deals and exclusive perks
- stay updated with industry trends, new destinations, and travel technologies to provide cutting-edge travel solutions
- collect feedback from clients after their trips and use this information to continuously improve services and offerings

Skills and expertises:
- thorough understanding of Italy as travel destination
- ability to organize complex itineraries and manage multiple bookings
- creativity to develop unique and personalized travel experiences
- skills to sale travel packages or services
- attention to detail

Mandatory: work permit (US citizenship or green card)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
