POSITION OVERVIEW
In support of the Department Air Force (DAF) Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO) Field Support Unit (FSU), this position will provide professional support to the DAF RCO-FSU organization with the Defense Travel System and the Government Purchasing Card program. DAF RCO-FSU offers unique capabilities and resources to support the U.S. Government and DoD Agencies in exploring technology concepts and to help resolve other technology challenges.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Defense Travel System (DTS) information.
- Help with flight information, changing flights, rental cars, etc.
- Assist in entering travel orders and voucher information into the Government's automated Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Provide information and support for customers with travel card programs/processes.
- Provide regular monthly status reporting of GTC accounts for DAF RCO-FSU personnel to the Business Office.
- Schedule appointments and meetings,
- Answer phones, greet visitors, prepare correspondence, letters and memoranda,
- Distribute staffing of documents, along with other routine administrative tasks such as gathering information, responding to requests for information, responding to queries from higher headquarters,
- Track suspense items, filing both electronic and hard copies.
- Prepare recurring and non-recurring reports.
- Implement DoD security and administrative concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Assist as needed with picking up, sorting, and delivering incoming mail from the Official Mail Center (OMC).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience directly related experience.
- Bachelor's degree or an additional 4 years of experience.
- Experience providing administrative and executive support to high-level military and civilian personnel, especially in a liaison capacity.
- Possess knowledge of general office routines
- Excellent organizational skills.
- TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with Learning Management Systems.
