• 13 week assignment
• 7:30a-4p

Qualifications:

1. Education:

   • Completion of an accredited cardiac sonography program.
   • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent.

2. Experience:

   • Previous experience as a Cardiac Sonographer is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
   • Familiarity with stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography is a plus.

3. Technical Skills:

   • Proficiency in performing echocardiograms and other cardiovascular ultrasound procedures.
   • Familiarity with echocardiography equipment and related technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Ultrasound Imaging:

   • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular ultrasound procedures according to established protocols.
   • Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images of the heart and vascular structures.

2. Patient Care:

   • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
   • Explain the imaging process to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

3. Image Analysis:

   • Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to identify and document cardiac abnormalities.
   • Collaborate with physicians to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
