The primary function of this position is to ensure the proper execution of operations. The transportation supervisor will work under the direction of the transportation operations manager to manage their assigned drivers efficiently. The position requires professional communication, computer, and presentation skills. The position represents the company positively, with employees, customers, and the community always performing safely and ethically.
- Manages drivers for compliance, training, policies.
- Ensures drivers follow regulations and meet company goals.
- Reinforces customer service and communication with drivers.
- Completes all required paperwork and reporting.
- Builds relationships with customers and vendors.
- Communicates schedules clearly to drivers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Truck Drivers as assigned. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Assists in interviewing and hiring process for new employees.
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in management, transportation or a related field is preferred or combination of associate degree and Experience. Three to five year's experience in management and five years transportation is preferred. Experience in at least two of the following areas is required: dispatch, tractor fleet maintenance, CDL Driving, and/or transportation safety.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
