Privately held well diversified transportation company is seeking a Full Time Safety &
Compliance Coordinator to assist Safety Director.
Job Functions:
- Manage/audit drivers electronic logs.
- Ensure drivers are following all DOT regulations and company policies;
- Maintain driver qualification files;
- Complete past employment, MVR and background checks;
- Monitor and execute random drug/alcohol testing program;
- Ensure maintenance and repair records are properly documented on equipment;
- Assist with documenting accident and cargo damage claims;
- Monitor and identify potential unsafe transportation practices;
- Work closely with the Manager of Risk, Safety and Compliance to ensure safe work practices are being followed;
- Ensure best practices are utilized to reduce potential risks;
- Communicate changes in laws, policies, processes, and procedures to terminal staff;
- Handling/Processing of Roadside Inspection Reports;
- Clean Trucks
- ELD and Camera installations.

Qualifications:
- High School completion required; college degree preferred
