Job Description
Job Summary:
The position ensures that routes for transporting participants to and from the facility are organized and efficient and that vehicles maintenance is performed. This position will also assist with ordering office and facilities maintenance supplies.
This position reports to the Transportation Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Preparing manifests for each route daily.
Checking participants in and out of programs services as they arrive and depart each day, as well as ensuring that they did not leave any personal belongings in the vehicle.
Assisting with dispatching, as needed.
Taking vehicles for service as required per maintenance schedule or when issues arise.
Processing orders for office supplies and for supplies required to maintain the facility.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Good interpersonal skills and friendly disposition.
Valid Operator’s License.
Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED
Must be able to acquire and maintain CPR and First Aid Certification.
Physical Requirements:
Alternating periods of sitting, standing, and walking for up to 8 hour shifts.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
