Working alongside seasoned planning, project development and transportation teams, you'll be on the frontlines identifying and implementing solutions impacting current and future transportation issues. What you might do:
- Support staff across offices on key projects and tasks
- Conduct basic research and data collection
- Assist team members in the creation of visual deliverables
- Support the development of reports and presentation materials
- Attend relevant staff and project meetings
- Interest in the field of planning
- In pursuit of a planning or relevant degree, either at the undergraduate or graduate level, from an accredited program
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
- Self-driven time management and organizational skills
- Research, data analysis, and GIS experience
- A previous internship or work experience related to your field of study
