Summary
Provides transportation and distribution operations related support for Ellsworth Specialty Chemical Distribution.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to obtain quotes for domestic and international transportation
- Freight forwarder communication.
- Book transportation using Third-Party Transportation Management System.
- Exception shipment management.
- Supporting transportation functions for the organization
- Assists with transportation coordination requests.
- Files and pursues damage claims with carriers and insurance companies
- Coordinates LTL shipments.
Experience
3+ years of related industrial experience and/or training
Education
Post high school education in a related field of study, such as Supply Chain
Certifications, Business Licenses, Registrations
None
Other Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse software
- Strong customer service skills
- Thorough and attentive to details
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of self-direction
