Transportation Manager

```Duties```
- Develop and implement transportation strategies and plans to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the daily operations of the transportation department, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to transportation.
- Manage a team of drivers and transportation staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of transportation activities with production, warehousing, and customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver logs, vehicle maintenance records, and fuel usage.
- Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable rates and terms for transportation services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in transportation technology to recommend improvements and innovations.

```Requirements```
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in transportation management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) or similar software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
