Transportation Designer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Transportation Designer in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate project plans and design criteria for a variety of roadway, bridge or intersection projects
• Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering project
• Involved with the preparation of proposals, scopes, budgets and schedules for assignments
• Coordination with utility companies to develop relocation plans is a plus

Requirements

• 0-4 plus years of experience in the design and management of highway/roadway, civil engineering and transportation projects for PennDOT, PA Turnpike, counties, and local municipalities
• Experience with drainage design, stormwater management and H&H modeling
• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• E.I. preferred
• Experience working on PennDOT and Turnpike design criteria and standards a plus
• Strong communications and technical writing skills
• Proficient with MicroStation, InRoads, HEC-RAS a plus
