At UCLA Health, you can do all this and more. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the development and implementation of pharmaceutical care in transplant recipients at UCLA Health. Emphasis will be placed on several areas including multi-disciplinary administrative, education, and teaching duties. The Transplant Pharmacist will provide pre and post-transplant related clinical services. Clinical functions shall include providing patient care as it relates to drug therapy; reviewing, researching, and developing drug protocols for recipients in the inpatient and outpatient setting based upon current medical literature and clinical experience. Additional duties will include participation in multi-disciplinary, quality assurance, quality improvement, or other hospital-based committees as requested. Qualifications

We’re seeking a dedicated clinical professional with: Pharm D. degree and current CA Pharmacy license (required). ASHP-accredited residency (preferred). Completion of Specialty Pharmacy Fellowship in solid organ transplantation (preferred). Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills. Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations. Ability to compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile products.
