Responsibilities: Interpret and support parents and students. Provide translation services with patrons whose
primary language is not English to assist school personnel, schedule appointments, and ask
permission for testing, interpret during testing. Attendance, physical presence and timeliness
are required and are essential functions of this position. Decides the meaning and context of
words and phrases that require translation. Determines when to meet with students through
parents and teachers. Work closely with parents of students who require interpretations
services. Coordinates meetings with students. Works with teacher and administrators to
schedule meeting. Other duties as assigned.

- Must speak required language and English fluently.

Pay Grade:
Pay Grade 8
Salary Range: Current Employees: $18.59 to $26.81 based on years with the district
New-to-the-District: $18.59 to $21.24 based on education and/or experience
