Transcriptionist

Responsibilities:
- Transcribe audio recordings into written documents
- Translate audio recordings from one language to another, if applicable
- Edit and proofread transcriptions for accuracy and clarity
- Follow specific style guidelines, such as the Chicago Manual Style, when formatting transcriptions
- Type and format documents in a professional manner

Skills:
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong typing and data entry skills
- Proficient in using transcription software and tools
- Ability to transcribe audio accurately and efficiently
- Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Strong editing and formatting abilities
- Familiarity with different accents and dialects
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Note: Prior experience as a transcriptionist is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong language skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
