Pharm Transcend is a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain foundational capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem of 7 major J&J IM ERP systems, standardizing our core business processes and products [across Plan, Source, Logistics, Make, Quality, Order Management, Supply Chain Finance and Data], and enabling our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance.

Summary

You will be accountable for working with a team of functional experts in driving the process and capability integration between SC functions to ensure that solutions support end to end business processes and requirements while maintaining the integrity and reliability of the ERP template. The leader will own the process integration for a specific deployment, as well as strive to maximize the adherence to Global Design Template. You must leverage a refined, multi-functional tool-set of business expertise, technical knowledge, and digital acumen, and must be able to engage and operate with program teams at an execution level, as well as with senior leadership at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end business process mapping, scenario/use case definition, integration, and Design adherence across the impacted functions.
  • Support development, maintenance, and adherence to ERP Global Template as well as the program methodology.
  • Ensure key processes and capabilities are designed, documented, and deployed in an integrated and effective manner within program timelines and scope.
  • Responsible for leading the program team in mapping end-to-end business processes/needs in order to solicit the right solutions, all the while ensuring that the solutions which are crafted work in a well-integrated way with the other functions.
  • Lead the Design Authority Meeting and drive identification and mitigation of design risks.
  • Partner with global team of Supply Chain experts in design, development, maintenance and improvement of global processes and integration points.
  • Own establishment and implementation of process design methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence.
  • Run cross-program process design Interdependencies by working with respective stakeholders to implement controls, cadence, and risk Mitigations.
  • Ensure planning and execution of business simulation and validation/readiness.
  • Develop and deliver program presentations for senior-level J&J IM stakeholders to advise on historical and future program status.

Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable
  • Certification in areas of expertise (e.g., PMP, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence, etc.) is helpful

Experience

Required

  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or large transformation programs
  • A minimum of 5 years of business process design, engineering, or optimization experience
  • Solid understanding of Pharma Supply Chain
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing, and leading operational technological processes within a global organization
  • Demonstrated hands-on project delivery, including handling to project timelines and milestones in complex business environments
  • Outstanding business and digital acumen, including ERP expertise
  • People management and development experience
  • Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholders. Skilled at engaging and building relationships with senior business stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively lead and govern cross-functional decision-making bodies
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result

Other

  • This position will require between 25% and 50% of travel time

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000- 203,000 USD

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401k).

  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
