SUMMARY
The Training Specialist primary responsibilities are to manage training requirements for company processes, procedures, and on-the-job skills documentation for applicable by job roles. Additionally, the Training Specialist will support accurate accountability of Quality Management System documentation, make revision edits, and content creation with manufacturing engineer support. The Training Specialist assists in developing database management process, deployment of training methods and is responsible for researching, organizing, conducting, and assisting in the evaluation of company training programs for all employees. The Training Specialist works independently with minimal supervision and is adept to managing multiple priorities and deadlines and will support projects as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Create new and/or revised work instructions for all fabrication processes.
• Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
• Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
• Maintain Quality Management System document matrix and ensure identification of current process owners, subject matter experts, alignment with QMS level 2 processes, applicable job roles and training frequencies.
• Maintain database of training content, requirements, records, and personnel.
• Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
• Develop testing and evaluation procedures to measure competency.
• Review and evaluate training and apprenticeship programs for compliance with government standards. (Fresno location specifically)
• Coordinate established courses with technical and professional courses provided by community schools, and designate training procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS

• Required – Read, write and comprehend English
• Preferred- Read, write and comprehend Spanish
• Preferred – Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in manufacturing environment, with at least 2-3 years of proven training work experience or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
• Preferred– Bachelor’s Degree in Business management or relevant discipline or combination of relevant experience and education
• Required – Working experience with the following computer programs: MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Windows Explorer.
• Preferred – Demonstrated people and leadership skills, including conflict resolution, problem solving, and performance management.
• Preferred – Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with staff from diverse disciplines and backgrounds.
