Position Overview

We are looking for a Training & Development Logistics Manager to focus on the employee training experience and help the trainers continuously improve our training programs.  Be part of a team that works to empower KIE's workforce with development tools at the right time, including district training schools and other learning resources. We work with every level of employee, from interns to executive leadership. Your key responsibility will be to ensure our employees have the best experience in their career development cycle with communication, coordination, and scheduling oversight for multiple KIE management schools. You will be instrumental to guide learners and facilitators through their coursework and assist with the assigned curriculum. You will support the KIE Development Sponsor.

District Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects. Through our integrated design and construction approach, our multi-disciplinary team works together to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk. Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety. Clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts, and best practices for all projects that we support.

Location

This position is based in our Lone Tree, CO office.

Responsibilities

Support Learners and Facilitators from enrollment to completion.  
    Develop and send school communications to learners, facilitators, and leadership. 
    Answer learner, facilitator, and school leadership questions about all facets of the assigned schools. 
    Create course ID's, enroll learners, track learner progress based on participation, submission of work, and attendance.  
    Escalate concerns from or about learners, facilitators, or key schedule milestones to leadership. 
    Maintain positive and helpful relationships with learners, facilitators, and leadership. 
 
In-person & virtual classroom support.
    Manage calendar invites to learners and facilitators.
    Coordinate room set-up, name tags/name tents.
    Coordinate snacks, happy hours, and learner dinners.
    Support facilitators with printing and curriculum preparation for in-person training. 
    Manage virtual Teams and learner breakouts. 

Collect, organize, and report data. 
    Use Microsoft Forms to collect learner data prior to course kickoff.
    Develop an understanding of Kiewit's learning management system, Talent Navigator.
o    Building courses, assigning prework, tracking progress and course evaluations. 
    Collect and organize data from student evaluations and assessments to submit to the school curriculum committee for review.  
 
Assist in special projects and additional talent development activities. 
    Support general talent development requests as needed. 
 

Qualifications

 

   Bachelor's degree is preferred, though not required.
   4+ years of experience in training and development creating content and supporting learning activities - requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through work experience. 
    Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    Aptitude for identifying issues, finding solutions, and making independent decisions when necessary.
   Highly collaborative with strong written and verbal communication skills.
   Detail oriented with strong analytical, organization, and time management skills.
    High degree of confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information.
   Ability to:
o    Perform complicated/complex administrative tasks.
o    Prioritize work, handling numerous/diverse tasks from multiple stakeholders while meeting and exceeding stringent deadlines.
o    Remain flexible when dealing with changing requirements.
o    Problem-solve and make decisions to proactively resolve issues. 
o    Work independently and as part of a team.
o    Develop productive working relationships.
o    Identify and utilize the correct tools and systems to create content and support the trainers.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
    Microsoft Office 365, Bluebeam or FoxIt PDF editor, Adobe Pro, Visio, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

    Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Base Compensation: $66,585 - $102,067 
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
