```Job Overview```
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and stimulating environment for children under your care. Your role will involve implementing developmently appropriate practices and age-appropriate activities, promoting social and emotional, cognitive, and physical development, and ensuring the well-being of each child.
```Responsibilities```
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the center's curriculum
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children
- Supervise and monitor children's activities at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
- Organize and participate in indoor and outdoor play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Observe and assess children's development, behavior, and progress
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
```Skills```
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE *Previous skills are a plus but not a requirement*
- Experience in liscenced childcare settings
- Schooling including early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors using positive behavior management techniques
- Proficiency in providing care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain one
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
-Have a clear background and be able to pass a drug screening
-18 years or older
