The Montgomery County Parks - Management Services Training Division, has an amazing opportunity for a Training Coordinator.
Taking direction from the Training Manager, the Training Coordinator will assist with administering the training program, inputting training data and liaising with vendors and participants to ensure all programs run efficiently.

Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing training for new and existing staff
Input training events into the Learning Management System
Develop promotional material to notify employees of training opportunities
Monitor event rosters for training events
Liaise with training providers for list of attendees and course material
Monitor evaluation feedback from the LMS
Assist with data analysis for reporting
Facilitate quarterly managers meeting
Assist with the maintenance of Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) program
Promote and distribute training resources to divisional mangers
Contribute to the continual development of the training programs
Assist with identifying training gaps and communication across divisions
Help to identify new vendors and training opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Training and Organizational Development or HR Management and
Four (4) years of Instructional or operational experience in employee development training or a combination of education and experience totaling eight (8) years
Demonstrated project management skills.
Experience working within a multiple divisional organization preferred.
Must possess a valid Driver's License and qualify to drive Commission vehicles.
Ability to communicate in another language a plus.

Knowledge of instruction design/training, training methodology, and adult instructional/learning principles and theories.
Knowledge of computers, audio-visual equipment, and training-related technical equipment.
Knowledge of reputable training resources, practitioners, providers, and institutions.
Experience with employee development, and other related techniques.
Ability to plan, design and implement successful programs.
Ability to collaborate effectively and garner support for training and employee development.
Ability to communicate effectively and assimilate and understand information.
Effective organizational skills for both short-term and long-term initiatives.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
Curious, open-minded, and entrepreneurial in identifying training opportunities.
Working Conditions:
Primarily works in an office setting; may work outdoors on an incidental basis. Assignment of 30 hours per week but may be increased on an intermittent basis due to operational requirements
