Job Summary
The Training Coordinator prepares, facilitates, executes, monitors, evaluates, and documents training activities in the company.
Essential Job Duties
- Assess training needs for new and existing employees
- Evaluates the competency levels of employees so they can work with different knowledge and skill levels
- Identifies internal and external training programs to address competency gaps
- Partners with Line Managers and Supervisors (Shift Coordinators, Team Leaders, and Area Owners) regarding employee training needs
- Partners with Human resources for potential new hire candidates, including but not limited to interviews, onboarding, and evaluation.
- Organizes, develops, or sources training programs to meet specific training needs
- Partner with subject matter experts regarding instructional design
- Develops training aids such as visual aids, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, manuals, and handbooks
- Informs employees about training options
- Maps out training plans for individual employees
- Presents training programs using recognized training techniques and tools
- Facilitates learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching
- Designs and applies assessment tools to measure training effectiveness
- Tracks and report on training outcomes • Provides feedback to program participants and management
- Evaluates and make recommendations on training material and methodology
- Maintains employee training records • Handles logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
- Establishes and maintain relationships with external training suppliers
- Coordinates off-site training activities for employees
- Manages and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
- Keeps current on training design and methodology
- Must be able to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, and overtime as needed.
Scope of Responsibility
Responsible for training, coaching, and instructing hourly employees, but will not have any direct reports.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Must have the ability to convey information effectively through verbal and written communication.

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED and previous experience with training required.
- Bilingual - Spanish preferred.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to sit, walk, lift, push, pull, and stand.
- The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Weekend work as required, off shift coverage as needed Work Environment

- The noise level in the work environment is quiet in the office areas but loud and hearing protection is required in the plant.
Travel Required
Minimal travel is required - approximately 5% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$43,100.00 - $69,700.00
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
