Trailer Technician – 2nd Shift

Penmac Staffing is seeking candidates for their 2nd Shift Trailer Tech position for a local business. This is a Temp-to-Hire position, our client is looking for a full-time candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for advancement.

The Shop Technician will be primarily focused on the repair and servicing of trailers and will gradually learn more around the shop. Prior mechanical or shop experience is preferred but not required.

Shift: 4:30 pm – 3:30 am

Pay: $17+ per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities can include:

*DOT Inspection of Trailers for Needed Service / Repairs

*Accurate Record Keeping of Labor Performed

*Preventative Servicing on Trailers such as Oil Changes, Brake Pads, Etc.

*Prioritize and Execute Repairs Based on Driver Needs

Requirements include:

*High School diploma or equivalent, preferred

*Prior Mechanical / Shop Experience, preferred

*Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check, required
