Traffic Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Traffic Engineer in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Data collection and analysis and simulation of traffic operations
• GIS analysis and mapping
• Working with large data sets using spreadsheet analysis
• Preparation of engineering reports and technical studies, including transportation planning, multimodal operations, and traffic safety studies
• Work on Traffic Engineering design, including traffic signs, pavement markings, traffic signal systems
• Preparation of construction cost estimates

Requirements

• Proficient with traffic analysis/modeling software, including Synchro, SimTraffic and HCS
• Basic understanding of general concepts of relevant areas of civil design/transportation engineering
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Familiarity with GIS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both office and virtual environments
• Ability to work independently while also developing cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team
