WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Set up construction zones with proper safety equipment including maintaining, and removing temporary work zones including warning signs, traffic cones, stop slow paddles, and rumble strips.
• Operate F-150 and or F-250 safely and effectively
• Communicate to ensure that motorists and pedestrians do not interfere with or pose a danger to Crews and their projects.
• Guide traffic/pedestrians’ safely through and around the work area
• Maintain a safe and orderly work zone
• Effectively communicate with your team to keep everyone informed and safe
• Assist crew members as needed with duties specific to Traffic Control

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check
• Must be able and comfortable in working in a variety of weather conditions for all four seasons (excluding thunder and lighting conditions)
• Ability to kneel, bend, squat while transferring up to 40 lbs. of equipment
• Must be punctual and able to maintain a regular, dependable attendance record
• Perform general labor duties when necessary 
• Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time (10 to12 hours)
• Must be able to work variable hours, which may include weekends, overtime, and various shift work (Extended shifts are common 5-6 day workdays weekly)
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist fellow co-workers and or supervisors, managers, and jobsite foremans  with other duties that are required
• Must be willing to travel (hotel accommodation/ Per Diem will be provided)

Experience and License Requirements

• 2+ Year of Traffic Control driving/flagging experience
• Valid driver's license
• Pass a pre-employment drug, background, and MVR check
• Traffic Control Flagger certification (Required) 
• WTCS certified (Preferred) 
• Have access to reliable transportation!
