Job description

Duties

As a Tractor Operator Leader WL-5705-6, your typical work assignments may include the following:

  • Leads three or more other workers to accomplish trades and labor work.
  • Performs regular nonsupervisory trades and labor work as members of the work crews or groups they lead.
  • Operates a field-type tractor and attached or towed equipment.
  • Performs seasonal gardening tasks and projects planned for the campus; considers suitability of the weather, degree of moisture in the soil and stage of plant growth in deciding method of action.
  • Delivers janitorial supplies to employees of Haskell and performs janitorial duties in classrooms, offices, dormitories, hallways, and restrooms.

Qualifications

Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualifications and will be evaluated on their ability to perform duties of the position rather than the length of experience. Eligibility will be determined by the relevance, scope and quality of all experience and training.
Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.

This position does not have a positive education requirement at this grade level. Therefore, no transcripts are required.

How You Will Be Evaluated
