The Toyota General Manager at Mills Auto Group is a critical role responsible for managing and overseeing the entire Toyota brand operations at our Wilkesboro, North Carolina location. This is a full-time, individual contributor position that will report directly to the Auto Group President. The primary focus of this position is to drive sales and profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets for Toyota brand vehicles
- Oversee and lead a team of sales professionals, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management to achieve individual and team goals
- Foster a customer-centric culture and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and allocation of vehicles to maintain a sufficient supply of vehicles for sale
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and develop solutions to address any challenges
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards, as well as company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments, including service and finance, to ensure seamless operations and maximize customer satisfaction
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably with Toyota brand experience
- Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales and profitability targets
- Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
