The Town of St. George, Maine is currently accepting resumes for the position of Town Manager. A vibrant community with 3 working harbors located in mid-coast Maine, St. George is located close to Rockland, Camden, and Camden Hills State Park. St. George has a Selectboard/Town Meeting/Town Manager form of government, a year-round population of 2,594 with a seasonal increase to 5,000 and a municipal budget of $4.4 million.
The Select Board is seeking a candidate who has strong leadership, managerial and collaborative ability with education and/or training in municipal management or a related field. The ideal candidate will be an experienced budgeting and financial manager, have personnel management experience and project manager ability. They will have excellent communication skills and a customer service orientation. Candidates with comparable work experience and education are encouraged to apply.
