What you'll do:
Lead and assist crewmen in performing a variety of manual duties/tasks to assure quality and safety adherence relating to antenna and lines installation
Review Scope of Work, CD’s, Structural, RFDS and Build of Materials prior to starting Construction for accuracy (2 MOST IMPORT Scope of work and Materials scoped)
- Complete an inventory of material released to make sure you are receiving all materials needed for the job prior to leaving warehouse
- Coordinate with scoping/Construction CM on missing material
- Calling in to Ansco OSS support for HEALTH checks and are logging IN & OUT with the NFSD via WEB PORTAL and NOT calling in
- Complete Job Safety Analysis form for each day on site
- Ensure crew is performing quality work and ensuring they correct VQA/punch items in a timely fashion
- Assembly of required antenna and lines materials
- Use tools and rigging hardware to perform normal tasks associated with installation of antenna and lines
- Climbing of towers to perform the installation of antenna and lines systems
- Fitting of connectors, attachment of coax to support system sealing and joints
- Mounting of antenna support systems
- Performs a variety of routine, non-machine tasks, setting of ice bridge post, placement of concrete, site cleanup
- Operation of winch or cat head
- Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools and supplies
- Cleans tools, equipment, material and work areas using water hose, wire brush, scrapers, brooms, rags and chemicals
- Read and understand owner manuals
- Performs all tasks according to directions, producing quality work, maintaining safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
- Travel throughout other markets required
Qualifications
Who we are looking for:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are authorized to work in the United States for this company
- You have 5+ years minimum experience within the Tower Construction industry (peferred)
- You have prior knowledge with wireless line and antenna equipment and networks (preferred); Anritzu certification and PIMM certification, a plus
- You are able to demonstrate an understanding of installation and testing of the latest technologies (LTE, CDMA, UMTS)
- You have valid Drivers License
- You are able to demonstrate ability to supervise and assist in the activities performed by crew towards achieving production goals following customer guidelines and specifications
- You are able to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
- You are able to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
- You are able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
- You are able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
- You are able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
- You are able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call)
- You are able to maintain a safe work environment
- You are able to work in all weather conditions
