We’re seeking a full-time Travel Advisor who is excited to partner with group organizers to design study abroad programs & faith-based tours. Successful candidates will have a passion for travel & demonstrate customer-focused service that includes building strong relationships & advocating on clients’ behalf. Key Responsibilities:
Listening to clients & offering recommendations
Designing custom itineraries tailored to each client’s unique goals & budget
Advocating on client’s behalf
Managing inventory & partnering with support staff to ensure quality control
Building your client base by asking for additional trips & customer referrals Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Travel Industry experience required
Strong customer service skills that build long-term relationships with your clients
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
Ability to learn new processes quickly
Strong computer skills, including: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Solid problem-solving & time management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Preferred:
Sales experience
Strong working knowledge and understanding of international airfare pricing rules and procedures, hotels, tour operators, etc.
Ability to anticipate clients’ needs and address them before they are asked
Proficiency with Amadeus or a similar Global Distribution System
Extensive personal travel experience
