About us: We are one of the longest running tour companies in Salem Massachusetts, we have been sharing the rich history of our city for over 25 years! You can find us located in the Epicenter of Salem's Haunted Happenings right off of Derby street where we offer 6 of the city's best attractions.

The Candlelit Tour: Our historical ghostly walking tour is an hour long and approximately a 1 mile walk around downtown Salem, bringing patrons to documented haunted sites, sharing the history, ghost story, and lore behind them. These sites include the Joshua Ward House, the Howard Street Cemetery, Old Salem Prison and the Lyceum.

What We are Looking for: To be a Candlelit Tour guide at one of Salem's longest running museums we are looking for outgoing individuals with enchanting storytelling abilities, interested in sharing Salem's magic with visitors.

What's in it for you?: Tour Guides are compensated with an hourly wage as well as tips they receive on tours. We have Part-time, Full-time, and Seasonal positions available. Unlike some of the other tour companies in Salem we are open all year round and can offer you employment beyond the peak season if you so wish.

Requirements:

-You must be able to walk for an hour/1 mile for the duration of the tour

-Ability to manage time efficiently

-Speak to crowds with confidence

-Availability to work evenings/weekends in October

Recommended:

-Customer Service Experience

-Tour Guide, Theater or History Experience

-Public Speaking Experience

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
