The Job:
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be part of our Total Rewards team working as a temporary virtual employee. It is possible that this 18-month temporary position could convert to a permanent fulltime role at the end of the term. The role responsibilities include:
  • Leading and managing large, complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple teams.
  • Timely and quality delivery and execution of integrated project plans for assigned cross-functional projects.
  • Creating communications, presentations, and analyses as needed to organize the project, informing stakeholders, explaining and clarifying key concepts, and aligning priorities for multiple audiences.
  • Identifying and managing interdependencies, project risks & issues, budget/financials, stakeholders, and communication across multiple partners and business leaders.
  • Effective problem solving and decision making by identifying, documenting, resolving, communicating, or escalating to HR leadership when appropriate.
  • Maintaining project data quality understanding the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Partnering with global HR counterparts to execute strategic and tactical projects within a Centers of Excellence (COE) Model.
  • Providing regular status updates to appropriate stakeholders and follow up with assigned owners on task status.
  • Leading project initiation, risk assessment, team selection and startup, execution and post project review.
  • Initiating and leading process improvement task forces, facilitating and promoting continuous improvement based on lessons learned and state-of-the-art project management techniques.
  • Driving change and continually improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Project Management group.
  • Managing multiple vendor engagements across project portfolio.

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources or related discipline or Associate's Degree with 10+ years work experience in HR or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of previous experience in a variety of Human Resources/Project Manager positions with increasing scope of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated expertise implementing and leading key projects.
  • Experience with looking at a business problem and connecting it to organizational solutions.
    Referenceable track record of influence across a global company.
  • Prior experience across multiple business units and functions, managing through different business cycles.
  • Demonstrated passion for working in a highly collaborative environment to continually refine customer/audience insights and improve short-term and long-term outcomes.
  • Strong assessment skills coupled with excellent judgment and perspective.
  • Highly proficient with data.
  • Adept planning and organizing detailed work in support of a broad strategic context.
  • Deadline focused, adaptable, has strong follow up and organizational skills.
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively interface and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to see both the big picture and what needs to be done near-term.
  • Ability to understand interdependencies of multiple activities occurring at once.
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent decision making, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Consultative approach, strategic mindset.
  • Ability to think outside the box and passion for innovative solutions and process improvement.
  • Strong understanding of the HR organization.
