Project Overview:
Join the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) as a Senior Project Manager for the CT-KIND Project. Collaborate with the Project Director, PMO vendor, and BITS Customer Success Manager to ensure successful implementation and oversight of the Kid's Information Network Database.
Scope of Work:
- Develop, control, and manage the overall plan for the CT-KIND project.
- Support organizational change management activities and contribute to executive dashboards.
- Consult with stakeholders to set up assignments, tasks, and sub-tasks for internal milestone plans.
- Keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and critical path awareness.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure resource alignment.
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Experience leading diverse groups and strong executive presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and other project tools/software.
- Strong risk and issue management acumen.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Project budgeting, resource planning, allocation, and capacity planning skills.
- PMP, CSM certification preferred.
- Prosci Change Management Certification.
Administrative Considerations:
- Candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents.
- Telework is possible, with 20% in-office time required.
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
- This position reports to the CT-KIND Project Director.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $186,000.00 per year
