We are a full-service communications infrastructure services provider focused on engineering, construction, and maintenance in connection with the deployment, expansion, and upgrade of new and existing critical communications networks.

Compensation & Benefits manager job summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing all FCFP benefit, and compensation plans for all its subsidiaries in the US. The position reports directly to the Head of Human Resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, other duties may be assigned.

  • Design fair, equitable and competitive Total Rewards packages that align with the organizations mission, strategy and business goals.
  • Conduct regular total compensation market analysis to update or confirm total compensation structure and market competitiveness for each position and function.
  • Work with local HR teams to ensure that compensation structures are updated and implemented.
  • Create, implement, and manage annual merit/bonus planning process in collaboration with HR, Operations, and Finance.
  • Support the overall HR department and organizational leaders by providing the tools necessary to ensure all pay adjustments and promotions conform to established guidelines, policies and practices.
  • Lead the overall Total Rewards Program which includes recommending new plans or modifications to ensure the organization's competitive position in the market and consistency.
  • Manage and refine benefits strategy for the company.
  • Audit benefit plans for compliance with government regulations.
  • Prepare and submit government-mandated reports and communications to employees. Ensure materials and notices are available to employees through the HRIS, Box and/or intranet.
  • Responsible for all benefit compliance and audit filings and functions, including but not limited to interfacing with external auditors, and flexible spending plans, filing 5500s, etc.
  • Manage annual internal and external Open Enrollment activities including creating communication materials and managing the program. Reconcile and process all benefit vendor invoices including internal allocations for Finance.
  • Act as the internal expert on HRIS reporting, preparing reports and analysis for senior executives and HR staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 7-10 years of experience designing, managing, and administering compensation and benefit programs.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal wage and hour laws, all relevant federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting compensation and benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Workers Compensation, Medicare, HIPAA, and social security and DOL requirements.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to evaluates design, implement, and administer health benefits, retirement plans, leaves of absence, accommodations, workers compensation, and wellness programs throughout the US.
  • Highly effective and inclusive communicator.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to drive change, and provide guidance and support in a business partner role.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, responding to the needs of different departments and managers.
  • Able to adjust and redirect attention quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines, well under stress and pressure of meeting deadlines and to set priorities with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Well-developed analytical skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills and demonstrated skills in HRIS database management.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
