We are searching for 2-3 very experienced, creative & highly motivated groomers to join our team on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts!
This is a seasonal position that requires you live locally on our Island, where you’ll work in our brand new, high-end, mobile grooming units. The positions are full-time starting (approximately) June 1st- October 15, 2024.
Groomers will be working both alone & together with other team members. Therefore, being able to work fluidly & respectfully around others is imperative.
Our company prides itself on having a superior reputation in our community! Nantucket has a bustling seasonal community of dogs & a very solid “local” community as well.
Salty attitudes, unkind expressions or disrespectful behavior is completely unacceptable on our team.
On the flip, professional attitudes, tolerant demeanor & friendly communication is a MUST.
Groomers may be paired with an assistant who will help bathe dogs. Potential candidates are encouraged to send a portfolio of your proudest grooming successes!
**Additional notes to keep in mind when considering this opportunity**
Our company will *assist potential candidates in finding housing during this summer season. However, finding housing is difficult. This position does NOT include paid housing. Most rentals do not allow pets. Ideal tenants are non-smokers, have great rental references, and are willing to share a space with another person.
